MICHIGAN Trench Safety REMOTE training class

The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) requires a Qualified Person to oversee all excavations and trenching job sites.
The Qualified Person is required to be able to identify potential dangers of the job site as it relates to MIOSHA Part 9 (OSHA’s Subpart P) – Trenching and Excavation Standard, and enforce the regulated best practices on the excavation project. This includes knowing the dynamics of soil pressure, how to classify soil conditions, and how to properly slope a trench or use an appropriate trench safety devise such as a trench box or hydraulic shoring.
All National and Michigan classes are conducted REMOTELY via Webex (similar to Zoom); and the cost is $60 per person.
Efficiency Production offers REMOTE Qualified Person Training once a month via Webex (Similar to Zoom).Cost is $60 per person. The Michigan class is specific to requirements and standards of the the Michigan Occupational and Safety Administration (MIOSHA).
